Five injured, including teen, in Russian shelling of Kherson

Five people, including a teenager, were injured in Kherson as a result of Russian shelling.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Military Administration announced this on Telegram.

"Approximately at 10:00, the Russians attacked a shop in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson using a drone," the statement said.

Four people were injured in the attack: a 49-year-old woman and men aged 51, 55, and 56.

The victims were taken to hospital with blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.

At around 10:40, another Russian strike in the Korabelnyi district injured a child. According to the regional administration, a 14-year-old boy who was in a park at the time of the attack sustained a blast injury, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to the face and neck.

The injured boy is currently in hospital.
