Due to lack of high-precision weapons, enemy more often uses outdated S-300s

The Russian forces have started to use outdated S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems more often due to the lack of high-precision weapons.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest operational update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk region, maintaining the captured districts of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, offensive actions are ongoing. The enemy continues to use anti-aircraft defenses to cover its troops. It conducts aerial reconnaissance with UAVs. The enemy is also trying to improve the logistical support for its troops.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched more than 10 missile and more than 24 air strikes on military and civilian facilities throughout Ukraine. In particular, civilian infrastructure was affected in the areas of Peremoha, Husarivka, Novomykhailivka, Bilohirya.

A threat of massive air and missile strikes on military and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine remains. Due to the lack of high-precision weapons, the enemy began to use outdated S-300 missile systems. More than 500 such missiles were launched on the territory of Ukraine, some of which did not reach the target. In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not undergone significant changes.

In other directions, the enemy attacked military and civilian infrastructure using tanks, combat vehicles, barrel and rocket artillery, namely:

in the Siverskyi direction - Mykhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv region and Stukalivka in Sumy region;

in the Kharkiv direction - Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv, Slatyne, Sosnivka, Udy, Petrivka, Velyki Prohody, Staryi Saltiv, Andriivka;

in the Sloviansk direction - Bohorodychne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia;

in the Kramatorsk direction - Sloviansk, Siversk, Raihorodok, Donetske, Ivano-Daryivka, Vesele;

in the Bakhmut direction - Zaitseve, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Vyimka, Rozdolivka;

in the Avdiivka direction - Avdiivka, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Vodiane, Pervomaiske;

in the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations, but shelled the regions of Krasnohorivka and Orlivka;

in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Bilohirya, Olhivske, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Novosilka, Vremivka;

in the Southern Buh direction, the enemy shelled the entire line of contact. The enemy is attmepting to provide logistical support for the troops.

Units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and prevent the enemy from advancing deep into the territory of Ukraine. The defense forces managed to successfully repel the enemy attacks in the areas Bohorodychne, Pasika, Dolyna, Bakhmut, Pokrovske, Bakhmutske, Pisky, and Pervomaiske populated areas.
