Russian missiles hit military facility near Zhytomyr

Russian missiles, fired at Zhytomyr region probably from the territory of Belarus, hit a military facility near the regional center.

"Today, many residents of Zhytomyr could see missiles flying over the city. Apparently, they were flying from the north. This indicates that they could fly from Belarus. I can't say exactly where the explosions occurred. That happened near Zhytomyr, it is a military facility. The information about the damages is being checked," Zhytomyr Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlyn said in a TV interview, the Zhytomyr City Council posted on Facebook.

The mayor added that the region had built several lines of defense near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

As reported, two explosions were recorded in Zhytomyr region as a result of a Russian missile attack. According to preliminary information, the missiles were fired from the territory of Belarus.
