Invaders attack seven localities on border between Luhansk and Donetsk regions

"Over the past night alone, they launched seven missiles, two airstrikes, fired tube artillery and MLRS 11 times, used mortars three times, and tank troops joined the assault four times. Each of these attempts is a few more damaged houses, broken destinies and hopes of our compatriots," Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, posted on Facebook.

As noted, the occupiers attacked seven localities on the border between Luhansk region and Donetsk region from the air on August 7.

To improve its tactical position, the enemy once again tried to go on an offensive in Verkhniokamyanske area but again retreated as in four other directions. Each of those attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense was unsuccessful: the Russians were forced to retreat with significant losses.

Enemy reconnaissance groups were detected and neutralized near four localities.

On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. After the capture of Lysychansk in July, Russian troops have not been able to advance beyond the administrative border between Luhansk and Donetsk regions for a month already.
