Enemy shelled Luhansk region more than 20 times in past day

More than 20 cases of enemy strikes have been recorded in the Luhansk region in the past day.

The National Police said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"The police recorded 21 cases of shelling by the occupation troops of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Severodonetsk community, the towns of Popasna, Rubizhne and the urban-type settlement of Komyshuvaha," the report reads.

 As a result of shelling, private houses and apartments of local residents were destroyed or damaged, as well as the premises and property of an enterprise in one of the settlements of the Severodonetsk community.

In addition, the police received eight reports about the illegal seizure of buildings and property of state executive bodies, enterprises and pharmacies in the temporarily occupied territory of the region. The police received four reports from citizens about the illegal seizure of their vehicles in the towns of Rubizhne, Severodonetsk and the urban-type settlement of Syrotyne.

The police also received reports about three cases of looting in the settlements located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
