Five people killed in mortar attack on village in Kharkiv region

Five women were killed in a Russian mortar attack on the village of Pryshyb, Izium district, Kharkiv region on June 22.

"Five civilians were killed. The women were near the entrance of a high-rise building in the village," said Stepan Maselsky, Head of the Izium District Administration, Suspilne reports.

According to him, the enemy attack was launched at about 13:30.

As reported, Kharkiv region has been under heavy enemy shelling in recent days. On June 21, 15 people, including an 8-year-old child, were killed in the region. On June 22, two workers of a local utility company were killed in artillery shelling of Chuhuiv, and three people were killed in a rocket strike on a two-story building in Zolochiv.
