A total of 44 bodies of civilians have been found under the rubble of a 5-storey building in the temporarily occupied city of Izium, Kharkiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A total of 44 bodies of civilians were found under the rubble of a 5-storey residential house, which was destroyed by Russian occupiers in early March 2022,” Syniehubov wrote.

It is another horrible war crime committed by Russian troops against civilians, Syniehubov stressed. In his words, Ukrainian authorities are recording each crime, and those responsible will be brought to justice.

A reminder that, on May 7, 2022, at least 62 civilians were killed in Russia’s air strike on a school situated in the village of Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region.
