The Ukrainian military have repelled an enemy attack near Zolote, Luhansk Region, but Russian invaders have shelled each city in Luhansk Region, leaving not a single infrastructure facility undamaged.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The attack near Zolote was repelled, but the enemy shelled each city in Luhansk Region,” Haidai wrote.

In his words, not a single critical or other infrastructure facility remained undamaged in Luhansk Region. Russian troops have informants helping them to target crowded stores and food warehouses.

“Hence, each shelling of the housing stock is an intentional terrorist attack. The ‘Russian world’, leaving people homeless. Russians were attacking near Zolote, then retreated and opened fire on houses,” Haidai noted.

According to Haidai, high-rise buildings and detached houses were damaged in Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Zolote and Kreminna. In Kreminna District, hectares of dry grass caught fire due to shelling, making rescuers even more busy.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian invaders are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
