Ukraine's digital chief calls on Microsoft to block Azure, Scype, GitHub in Russia

Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov appealed to Microsoft to block Azure, Scype and GitHub services in Russia.

The government reported about this via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"I continue to work continuously on technologically isolating the aggressor. I appealed to Microsoft to block Azure, Scype, and GitHub for the Russians," Fedorov wrote.

He noted that Russia is rapidly sliding into the past.

As reported, the U.S.-based Microsoft will stop selling goods and services in Russia after the country’s troops invaded Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion.

Russian troops have been killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, and their missiles have been hitting Ukrainian households.
