Shmyhal, Kyiv energy workers discuss infrastructure recovery needs

Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, during his visit to an energy facility in Kyiv damaged by Russian attacks, discussed with energy workers their urgent needs for carrying out repair works.

According to Ukrinform, Shmyhal shared details of the meeting on Telegram.

"I visited one of Kyiv's energy facilities that was damaged as a result of repeated Russian attacks. We held an operational meeting with energy workers and discussed their urgent needs for rapid recovery. These issues are addressed daily by the headquarters, and we coordinate work with partners to obtain everything we need," Shmyhal wrote.

He also expressed gratitude to energy workers for their efforts to restore power supply to residents of the capital.

Shmyhal had previously chaired a meeting on the energy supply situation in the Kharkiv region, hearing reports from Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrenergo CEO Vitalii Zaichenko, and energy sector representatives.
