Ukrainian swimmer Mykhailo Serbin has become the champion of the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo (Japan).

The Kharkiv resident won a gold medal in the men's 100m backstroke, Ukrinform reports.

Viktor Smyrnov from Donetsk took silver at this distance.

Ukraine Paralympic team has already won 31 medals – six gold, 16 silver, and nine bronze.
