Ukrainian swimmer Krypak wins gold at 2020 Paralympics

Ukrainian swimmer Maksym Krypak has become the champion of the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo (Japan).

The resident of Kharkiv region won a gold medal in the men's 100m freestyle, Ukrinform reports.

Krypak set a new world Paralympic record covering the distance in 50.64 seconds.

Ukraine Paralympic team has already won 28 medals – five gold, 14 silver, and nine bronze.
