Svitolina reaches 2nd round of Australian Open

Ukraine’s No.1 Elina Svitolina beat Viktorija Golubic and reached the second round of the Australian Open.
“No.6 seed Elina Svitolina scored her first win of the season, 6-1, 6-2 over qualifier Viktorija Golubic, to move into the second round of the Australian Open in one hour and one minute,” WTA portal reports.
Elina Svitolina will set up a second round clash with Viktoria Kuzmova, who beat Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova, 6:4, 4:6, 2:6, in the first round.
The Australian Open will end on January 27.
