Shakhtar wins 12th Ukrainian Cup title

Shakhtar Donetsk beat Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in the final of the Ukrainian Cup of the 2017/2018 season in Dnipro on May 9.
Goals were scored by Facundo Ferreira (48) and Yaroslav Rakitskiy (61), Ukrinform reported.
A total of 31,000 spectators watched the match at the Dnipro Arena stadium.
This is already the 12th Ukrainian Cup title for Shakhtar over the time of Ukraine's independence. Dynamo has 11 cup victories. The trophy was won twice by Chornomorets Odesa and once each by Vorskla Poltava and Tavriya Simferopol.
On their road to the final, Shakhtar beat Zorya Luhansk 4-3, Veres Rivne 4-0 and Mariupol 5-1.
