Gaitana to remind Ukrainians of Ukraine without politics
KYIV, May 12 /UKRINFORM/. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Ukraine's entrant Gaitana with her 'Be my guest' will be calling on to visit Ukraine and to pay no regard to the appeals of some foreign politicians on a boycott of EURO 2012, she told the press on Friday.
"We will recall the European audience that Ukraine - it is not only politics, but also a beautiful country, which may be worthy to receive visitors. In general, I take Eurovision sooner not as a competition, but as a festival of music, which brings joy to the whole Europe," the singer noted.
General Director of the Lavina Music Holding Eduard Klim said that an exclusive personalized chocolate 'Be my guest' was released specially for the competition and Gaitana, to be distributed free of charge during the contest in Baku.
The singer also presented a new English-language album 'Be my guest', which includes 10 original tracks made by best sound-producers and musicians from Europe and the United States. The album was recorded in Kyiv, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles. A unique brand-book was also developed for Gaitana, as well as mobile multimedia software for devices running on the platforms iTunes and Android.
As for the entry of the singer, it was produced by director, famous choreographer Olha Semeshkina. Gaitana's performance will be accompanied by special LED screens that will create 3D effect.
