“Kyiv in three days,” “dirty bomb,” and “another Stalingrad”: Russian propaganda adapting over two years of full-scale war

Two years ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. With the expansion and escalaction of the war theater, the information component of aggression was also enhanced. Kremlin propaganda simultaneously tries to justify an unprovoked attack, discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the international community and strip the nation of much needed support, demoralize and disorient the Ukrainians, and minimize the country’s ability to resist aggression.

Anti-Semitic card of Russian propaganda

The Putin regime does not shy away from using the dirtiest methods to maintain power, discredit its enemies, and provoke destabilization in other countries. The Kremlin may consider the marked card of anti-Semitism to be one of its trump cards because it has allowed it to solve these problems for decades, to say the least.

Russian "Enigma" of the XXI сentury: Telegram’s сonnection to the Kremlin

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has gained a significant impact on the Ukrainian audience. Nearly a million users downloaded the app in the month after February 24, 2022. Today, 88% of Ukrainians use this messenger. Nowadays, Telegram for us is the source of news, warnings about missiles flying close to one’s location, fundraising by volunteers, and access to uncensored information from the battlefield in each phone.

Wartime Tarot Readings in Russia

Information and psychological operations have been actively used by the Russians since the very outset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Spreading disinformation, Russian narratives, and rocking the psyche are additional tools in the war they are waging against Ukrainians. Russian fortune-tellers on tarot cards have also played their part in the information war.
