NG Commander Pivnenko meets soldiers released from captivity and presents awards
According to Ukrinform, Pivnenko announced this on Facebook.
“I visited our guardsmen, who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at a medical center following their release from Russian captivity,” he said.
According to Pivnenko, during the meeting he spoke with the servicemen, asking about their well-being, their medical care, and the progress of their rehabilitation. The guardsmen shared their personal stories of their experiences in captivity, describing the hardships they had endured, as well as their plans for the future once their recovery is complete.

“It is important to us that each of them feels supported and is not alone on the road to recovery,” the commander emphasized.
Pivnenko added that the servicemen also raised issues and needs that require attention, particularly regarding the restoration of documents, social support, and ongoing assistance as they return to a full life. In particular, medical care, psychological rehabilitation, and social support are part of a comprehensive effort that will continue for as long as necessary.
“I presented the released guardsmen with honorary breast badges ‘For Steadfastness and Fortitude,’” he reported.
The commander thanked the soldiers for their courage, endurance, and devotion to Ukraine, and also expressed gratitude to their families for the faith, support, and patience with which they awaited the return of their loved ones. He also emphasized that Ukraine continues to fight for every one of its soldiers so that all defenders—both men and women—return home.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Pokrovsk direction, fighters from the National Guard’s 3rd Special Operations Brigade “Spartan” captured 25 Russian invaders over the course of a month.
