A group of Ukrainian military personnel and veterans will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, as part of the “Messages from the Front Line” initiative.

This was announced in an interview with Ukrinform by Svitlana Hrytsenko, a member of the organizing committee of the Ukraine House in Davos.

“The group will include nine military personnel and veterans. With their help, we want to convey information to the world from primary sources: what is happening on the front lines, how the evacuation system works, which weapons are effective, and the results of Ukrainian companies' work in the field of military technology,” Hrytsenko said.

According to her, the speeches of military personnel have a special power because they are perceived not only on a logical level, but also on an emotional level. The goal is to thank those partners who already support Ukraine and to convince those who are still hesitant.

“They will advocate for support for Ukraine, open eyes to the reality of war, and demonstrate that the Ukrainian military is defending not only our country, but also Europe and the world,” Hrytsenko emphasized.

Participants in the “Messages from the Front Line” initiative in Davos will present specific cases and innovative approaches by the military, demonstrating that Ukraine is a country of great opportunities.

As reported by Ukrinform, the World Economic Forum will start in Davos on January 19: more than 100 heads of state and government will gather in Davos, Switzerland, for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
