The Canada Ukraine Surgical Aid Program (CUSAP) resumed operations in Ukraine this fall for the first time since 2022.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (Toronto Branch) reported this on Facebook.
Volunteer surgeons completed 52 reconstructive operations in 12 days and trained Ukrainian medical teams in advanced trauma care.
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress stressed that this mission marked a significant milestone in rebuilding the country's surgical capacity.
Last fall, the sixth CUSAP mission began operations in Poland.
