The Drahobrat resort in Zakarpattia is not actually being sold — only one hotel complex with the same name has been put up for sale.

Tourism expert and associate professor at Uzhhorod National University Oleksandr Koval stated this in a comment to Ukrinform.

“In reality, only one hotel complex has been put up for sale — the news caused some excitement because the complex has the same name as the resort. Drahobrat has about a hundred accommodation facilities of various sizes and comfort levels. Overall, the resort offers 3,500 beds,” Koval explained.

Earlier, news circulated online citing an OLX listing claiming that the Drahobrat ski resort in Zakarpattia had been put up for sale for 2.7 million USD.

The Drahobrat resort is located in Zakarpattia region in the Svidovets mountain range at an altitude of about 1,400 meters above sea level. It is popular with skiers due to its stable snow cover and longer skiing season compared to most other Carpathian locations. It is considered the highest-altitude ski resort in Ukraine.
