501 children remain in forced evacuation zone in Donetsk region

In the settlements of Donetsk region, where families with children are being forcibly evacuated, there are 420 families with 501 children.

This was reported by Yuliia Ryzhakova, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration's Children's Affairs Service, during an online briefing, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“In two settlements of two territorial communities of the region, there are 501 children in 420 families who are subject to compulsory evacuation by force with their parents or persons replacing them, or other legal representatives,” Ryzhakova said.

In particular, according to her, 498 children in 419 families remain in the Druzhkivka city territorial community.

The representative of the Regional Military Administration noted that over the past week, 50 children from 39 families, all from the city of Druzhkivka, have been forcibly evacuated from the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the forced evacuation of children with their families in Donetsk region began on April 7, 2023.
