Ukraine counts 354 artists and media workers killed in Russia’s war

Ukrinform
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 236 artists and 118 media workers — including foreign journalists — have been killed in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Culture reported this.

The ministry stressed that journalists in Ukraine work under extremely high-risk conditions to produce essential news, investigations, and reports. They document the events of the war to provide Ukraine and the world with accurate information about what is happening.

Media professionals work around the clock to collect undeniable evidence of Russian war crimes and to highlight the strength, heroism, and resilience of Ukraine’s defenders.

“Russia’s systematic crimes against journalists and the media pose a serious threat to freedom of speech and information security, undermining democratic values and human rights,” the ministry emphasized.
