President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena visited Trinity Hub, a center where Ukrainian soldiers who have lost their sight undergo rehabilitation and adaptation.

The head of state announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The Zelenskys spoke with soldiers who defended Ukraine in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Donetsk regions.

“Each of them is an example of strength, resilience, and dignity,” the President emphasized.

As he noted, at the center, veterans learn spatial orientation, how to use technology, Braille, play sports, and return to real life.

The presidential couple thanked the soldiers for defending Ukraine. They also expressed their gratitude to Trinity Hub and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

“Our soldiers have fulfilled their duty, defended Ukraine, and now it is the state's duty to support them at every stage of their recovery,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported, Trinity Hub is a barrier-free educational and rehabilitation center for people with visual impairments located in Kyiv. It uses ten types of sports in rehabilitation, which is an innovative approach in Ukraine.
