Zelensky awards state honors to 433 Ukrainian defenders, 179 of them posthumously

President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded state decorations to 433 defenders of Ukraine, 179 of them posthumously.
The relevant decrees No. 803/2025 and No. 804/2025 dated October 28, 2025 have been published on the website of the President, Ukrinform reports.
According to the documents, the awards were conferred for personal bravery demonstrated in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for dedicated performance of military duty.
The defenders received the Presidential distinction Cross of Combat Merit, the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Danylo Halytskyi, and For Courage, as well as the medals For Military Service to Ukraine, To the Defender of the Fatherland, and For Saved Life.
As reported earlier, Zelensky also awarded state honors to Ukrainian energy workers.
