Two more teenagers have been rescued from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine as part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

Daria Zarivna, the initiative’s Chief Operating Officer, announced this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“One of the boys had spent three years under occupation with his mother. He refused to attend school due to the heavy presence of Russian propaganda in the curriculum. They were waiting for liberation, but the situation grew increasingly dangerous—people disappeared after searches, and even speaking Ukrainian at home became risky,” Zarivna noted.

The second teenager, having just graduated from high school, chose not to accept life under occupation. He made the courageous decision to leave for government-controlled territory to begin a new life and build a future in a free Ukraine.

Zarivna expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian child rights network, the Humanity volunteer initiative, and Save Ukraine for their role in helping the teenagers take this step toward freedom and a better future.

As reported by Ukrinform, Congressmen Gregory Meeks and Michael McCaul introduced a bipartisan resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives condemning Russia’s abduction and forcible transfer of Ukrainian children and calling for their immediate return.
