Kyiv’s June temperatures fall slightly below seasonal norm

The average air temperature in the city of Kyiv during June was 19.1°C, which is 0.4°C below the long-term climatic norm.

That is according to the Borys Sreznevskyi Central Geophysical Observatory, as reported by Ukrinform.

Data from the United Hydrometeorological Station “Kyiv” show that the coldest day was June 11, with morning temperatures dropping to 10.9°C.

In contrast, the warmest day of the month occurred on June 7, when temperatures peaked at 31.6°C.

Precipitation levels on Nauky Avenue totaled 57 mm, representing 77% of the monthly average.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the average monthly air temperature for the calendar spring in Kyiv was 10.7°C—1.3°C above the climate norm.
