Almost 2,500 customers left without electricity in Chernihiv region

In Chernihiv region, almost 2,500 subscribers are without power as a result of the destruction caused by Russian missile attacks.

This was reported in Telegram by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

“The situation with energy is difficult, especially on the border. Almost 2,500 subscribers are left without electricity. This is a consequence of Russian attacks,” he said in a statement.

Chaus noted that repair crews are working where the security situation allows, and thanked the power engineers who are restoring power supply.

The Department of Civil Protection and Defense of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration clarified that 32 settlements in the region remain without power, three of them partially.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a massive combined attack on Ukraine's power grid on November 28 damaged energy facilities in several regions. Since the evening of Wednesday, November 27, Russians have attacked Ukraine with 188 air strikes.
