The Royal Philips company announced its support for the projects of the Olena Zelenska Foundation.

"For more than a year and a half of the full-scale war, Russia has destroyed more than 1,500 Ukrainian hospitals. Not only the premises were damaged, but also the most valuable: precious equipment, without which full-fledged medical care is impossible," Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska posted on Telegram.

According to her, one of the examples of such Russian crimes is a hospital in the liberated Izium. Four operating theaters, an intensive care unit, a tomograph, and much more were destroyed there.

"Therefore, when I created the Olena Zelenska Foundation, one of the first projects was the restoration of the hospital, among the ruins of which doctors literally lived all months of the occupation, compensating for the lack of equipment with self-sacrifice. The Foundation has already allocated $600,000 to repair and equip four operating rooms. For this, we raised funds from HРhHolding company from Denmark," the First Lady noted.

During a visit to the Netherlands on August 20, Zelenska met with the management of the Royal Philips company – one of the leading medical equipment manufacturers based in Amsterdam. The company pledged its support for the Foundation's projects.

"For the Izium hospital, this will mean the restoration of full-time work, and for 150,000 local residents – decent health support," the First Lady said.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky and the First Lady visited the Netherlands on Sunday.
