Poland donates 800 laptops to vocational schools in Ukraine

The Polish Foundation for International Solidarity has handed over 800 laptops that it purchased for vocational education institutions in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science, according to Ukrinform.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, vocational educators, representatives of departments of education and science, and vocational education training centers attended the conference "Implementation of Vocational Education Reform" held in Lviv.

The conference presented the progress of vocational education reform and innovations in the National Qualifications System, discussed the functioning of vocational schools during the war and the development of digital educational tools.

The participants paid special attention to the establishment and operation of career centers and career counseling, as well as the development of entrepreneurial skills among students.

At the conference, vocational educators were handed over 800 laptops purchased by the Polish International Solidarity Fund. They were distributed among 52 institutions that had the greatest need for computer equipment.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science together with the EU Program "EU4Skills: Better Skills for Modern Ukraine".

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukrainian teachers urgently need 80,000 laptops and tablets to ensure the online learning process.
