The Ukrainian community of New York (USA) held a rally on the historic Bowling Green Square to protect Ukrainian children from Russian shelling and return to Ukraine children abducted by Russia.

That's according to the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The Ukrainian flag again flew together with the American flag over New York during another rally in support of Ukraine held by Ukrainians in New York on the historic Bowling Green Square, which was dedicated to the protection of Ukrainian children from barbaric bombings and rocket attacks by racists and the return to Ukraine of thousands of our children, civilians, as well as defenders, who were forcibly deported by Russia," the post says.

The Consulate General thanked Arthur Zgurov and the Bowling Green Association for organizing the rally.
