President meets with UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with British actor, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom.

Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his nightly video address, Ukrinform reports.

“I met with the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom and the UNICEF team - an organization engaged in humanitarian support and protection of children… We discussed the issue of rebuilding our country, our school infrastructure. I appreciate this help. We agreed that our teams should work on several issues,” Zelensky said.

According to the President, these issues include the return of Ukrainian children deported to the aggressor country, the creation of bomb shelters in educational institutions, as well as the technical support of distance learning in those areas where it is impossible to study offline due to relevant threats.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Orlando Bloom has been working meaningfully in the area of child protection for a long time. The actor visited Donbas even before the full-scale invasion and saw what Russian aggression brought to Ukraine.

As reported, British actor, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom visited Kyiv. In particular, he talked with children in the Kyiv metro.
