Ukraine receives 70,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid over ten days of March

Over the ten days of March, Ukraine received 70,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid from abroad.

"We are actively increasing the volume of humanitarian aid. Over ten days of March, 70,000 tonnes were imported," Spokesperson to the Head of the President's Office Darya Zarivna said on the air of the nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As noted, humanitarian goods are sent to the eastern and southern regions of the country and Kyiv region through regional humanitarian hubs. Humanitarian aid is delivered by road and Ukrzaliznytsia trains.

In addition, Zarivna informed that more than two million people had been evacuated by rail since the beginning of the war.

As reported, the Coordination Headquarters of Humanitarian and Social Affairs functions in Ukraine to help citizens overcome difficult life circumstances which arose due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
