Yermak, Vatican secretary of state discuss peace process in Ukraine

Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Andriy Yermak discussed the peace process in Ukraine with Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

“Was pleased to continue our dialogue with His Eminence Pietro Parolin. Discussed the peace process in Ukraine. Touched upon His Holiness Pope Francis' visit, which will be a great contribution to peace in our country. We are sincerely grateful to His Holiness Pope Francis for all the initiatives and support of Ukraine,” Yermak wrote.
As reported, in August 2021, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal extended to His Holiness Pope Francis an invitation to pay a visit to Ukraine.
