Nearly 70,000 Ukrainians jabbed against COVID-19 on Jan 24

Some 69,546 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has said on Facebook.

"Some 27,261 people received their first dose, 24,700 people received their second dose, 501 people received an additional dose, and 17,084 people got a booster dose," the statement said.

Since the launch of the vaccination program in Ukraine, 15,191,377 people have received their first dose, 14,490,784 people have received both doses, 13,609 people have got an additional dose, and 225,868 people have received a booster dose. A total of 29,921,638 doses have been administered so far.

A total of 19,118 COVID-19 infections were recorded in Ukraine on January 24.
