Over 23,000 Ukrainians vaccinated against COVID-19 on Jan 16

Over 23,000 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has said on Facebook.

"As many as 23,286 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on January 16. Some 8,034 people received their first dose, 10,930 people received their second dose, 105 people received an additional dose, and 4,217 people got a booster dose," the statement said.

Since the launch of the vaccination program, 14,993,075 people have received their first dose, 14,270,520 have received both doses, 9,617 people have got an additional dose, and 99,165 people have received a booster dose. A total of 29,372,377 doses have been administered so far.

A total of 39,769 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on January 15.
