Government endorses biennial agreement between Ukraine and WHO/Europe

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed the Biennial Collaborative Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) for 2022-2023.

The relevant order was approved at the Government’s meeting on Wednesday.

According to the explanatory note, Ukraine aims to continue cooperation with WHO to increase public access to high-quality health services; develop and implement strategies to reform health care financing; improve access to essential medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, and equipment; strengthen the potential of its readiness for emergencies.

Minister of Health Viktor Liashko is authorized to sign the agreement.

The Biennial Collaborative Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the WHO Regional Office for Europe for 2020-2021 expired in December 2021.
