COVID-19 in Kyiv: Authorities confirm 1,688 daily cases in Nov 25 report

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,688 new coronavirus cases were reported in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv.

That’s according to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko who posted the latest stats on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"1,688 confirmed coronavirus cases (a total of 293,125)," Klitschko wrote.

According to the city mayor, among those who contracted the coronavirus were 913 female patients aged 18 to 94 years, 655 males aged 18 to 92 years, as well as 120 minors (71 girls from 2 months to 17 years of age and 49 boys from 6 months to 17 years of age).

Most cases were recorded in Darnytskyi (271), Solomianskyi (236), and Sviatoshynskyi (228) districts.

Also, Kyiv medics confirmed 46 ​​COVID-related fatalities over the past day (a total of 7,330). Among those who died were 22 women aged 53 to 85 and 24 men aged 48 to 89.

Also throughout the past day, 155 coronavirus patients and 163 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized.

The report adds that 1,801 patients successfully recovered, bringing their total number to 250,729.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 16,943 new coronavirus cases were reported across Ukraine as of the morning of Thursday, November 25.
