Over 100,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Ukraine on Oct 4

Over 100,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on October 4, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 100,331 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on October 4, 2021. Some 51,472 people received their first dose, and 48,859 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 831 mobile vaccination teams, 2,925 vaccination sites, and 339 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 13,062,838 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 7,242,115 people receiving their first dose and 5,820,725 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 9,846 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine on October 4.
