Kyiv authorities report 71 new COVID-19 cases, no corona-related deaths over Sunday

In Kyiv, 71 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours, with no fatalities reported, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko says, according to Ukrinform.

"Seventy-one confirmed coronavirus cases (a total of 218,013) and no deaths from the virus (a total of 5,228) were registered," Klitschko wrote on Facebook.

At the same time, over the past day, 30 patients recovered, while 11 were hospitalized in Ukraine’s capital.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 213 new active COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on July 25.

Since the onset of the pandemic, 2,248,663 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,184,365 have recovered, and 52,849 have died.
