Nearly 50,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on July 25

A total of 49,057 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on Sunday, July 25, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 49,057 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 25, 2021. Some 39,150 people received their first dose, and 9,907 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the report, 165 mobile teams, 298 vaccination sites and 329 vaccination centres were operating on July 25.

A total of 4,812,500 doses have been administered in Ukraine since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, with 3,099,709 people receiving their first dose and 1,712,791 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 213 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on July 25.
