New Year truce in Donbas to begin on Dec 29

The security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) has agreed on the introduction of a ceasefire regime in the area of hostilities in Donbas from December 29, Ukraine's representative in the TCG, Yevhen Marchuk, has said.
"We have stated today that tomorrow, starting from 00.01, Ukraine will ensure a full-scale ceasefire regime. We emphasized that this ceasefire regime should be maximally used to repair critical infrastructure facilities that have been damaged. Unfortunately, there are a few of them," he told the Priamy TV channel.
On December 27, Russian occupation forces launched one attack on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk sector.
