NATO-Ukraine Council meeting to be held in Brussels

A meeting of the NATO Military Committee will be held in Brussels on January 21-22, during which the NATO-Ukraine Council is scheduled to meet.

This was reported by the Alliance's press service, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that the Chair of the Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, will preside over the meeting, with the participation of 32 representatives of the Alliance countries, as well as NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Alexus Grynkewich and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Admiral Pierre Vandier.

The chiefs of defense staff of the Alliance will also meet with their counterparts from NATO partner countries in the Indo-Pacific region, Georgia, and Ukraine.

Seven sessions are planned.

The NATO-Ukraine Council meeting will take place on January 22 as part of the fifth session. At the NATO-Ukraine Council, the Chiefs of Defence Staff will discuss the situation in Ukraine and NATO's continued support for Kyiv, including the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) and the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC).

The Chairman of the EU Military Committee (CEUMC) has also been invited to attend this meeting.

As reported by Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi took part in a regular meeting of the commanders-in-chief of the armed forces of the member states of the Coalition of the Willing. The meeting focused on the formats of countries' participation in the implementation of international security guarantees for Ukraine.
