Tusk to take part in Coalition of Willing meeting in Paris

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will take part  in a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing on Tuesday, which will be held in the French capital.

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland stated this on its website, Ukrinform reports.

"The talks among the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing will focus on negotiations on a peace plan with the participation of the United States, ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine, and the prospects for achieving a lasting and just peace," the statement said.

It is noted that, in addition to Volodymyr Zelensky, the meeting will be attended by leaders of European countries and the European Union, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, as well as U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio together with special envoys of President Donald Trump.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine, together with partners from the Coalition of the Willing, will finalize a document on security guarantees during the meeting in Paris on January 6, which will serve as the basis for further negotiations with the U.S. president.

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will also join the meeting in Paris.
