U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with Russian leader Vladimir Putin over the fact that he is killing too many people.

As reported by an Ukrinform correspondent, the U.S. President made the remarks to journalists on Saturday at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

“I’m not thrilled with Putin. He is killing too many people,” Trump said.

When asked whether he had spoken with Putin about dictator Nicolás Maduro during their most recent phone call, Trump responded in the negative.

“We never spoke about Maduro,” he noted.

Trump once again stated that progress is being made in negotiations to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, traditionally adding that the war “should have never happened.”

“If I were president, that would have never happened,” he repeated.
