Kremlin says it has received key parameters of peace plan from United States
That is according to the BBC News Russian, Ukrinform reports.
"The key parameters have been provided – and next week there will be a conversation in Moscow [with U.S. representatives]," Russian propaganda media quoted Peskov as saying.
Earlier reports said that U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, was expected to travel to Moscow next week.
Peskov said the Kremlin would announce the exact date for Witkoff's visit "in due course."
On Thursday, November 27, Russian leader Vladimir Putin repeated his claims that hostilities in Ukraine would supposedly cease once the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdraw from occupied positions.
Putin asserted that there were no drafts of a "peace treaty" as such, only a "set of issues for discussion."
He also said that following talks between U.S. and Ukrainian representatives in Geneva, it was decided to divide the 28 points of the peace plan into four sections. According to Putin, Moscow generally agrees that the U.S. list of points regarding Ukraine could serve as a basis for future agreements.
Putin further claimed that Russia was allegedly ready to formalize the absence of intentions to attack Europe.
He confirmed that the U.S. delegation was expected to visit Moscow next week. The Russian side will be represented by Putin's aide Vladimir Medinsky and officials from the Foreign Ministry.
