Sybiha calls on G7 to quickly implement decisions to increase pressure on Russia after combined attack
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy wrote about this on social network X after another attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, As I returned home from my visits to Canada and the UK this morning, Russia launched a brutal missile and drone attack on Kyiv, targeting ordinary houses, hospitals, energy, and civilian infrastructure... I count on the swift implementation of the strong decisions discussed at our G7 meeting," Sybiha said.
He added that this brutal Russian attack demonstrates the urgent need for new contributions to Ukraine's defense capabilities and new steps to increase pressure on Russia, including the long-awaited decision on frozen assets.
"We can force Putin to end the war by hitting him harder than he expects. The continuation of Russia’s brutal war against civilians will not bring him anywhere except to the Special Tribunal. There will be justice for all Russian crime," the minister stressed.
As reported by Ukrinform, the member states of the G7 confirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, condemned Russia's military assistance from Iran, North Korea, and China, and announced their intention to increase economic pressure on Moscow.
