“Mirror response”: Ukraine bans entry to three high-ranking Hungarian military officials

Ukraine has imposed an entry ban on three high-ranking Hungarian military officials in response to a previous ban by Budapest.

This was announced by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X, according to Ukrinform.

“We’ve imposed an entry ban for three high-ranking Hungarian military officials. Our mirror response to Hungary’s earlier baseless entry ban for our military officials. Hungary’s every act of disrespect will be met with adequate response, especially disrespect for our military,” the Foreign Minister said.

As reported, on August 28, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that the Hungarian government had banned a Ukrainian commander from entering Hungary due to attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline.

Ukrainian UAV Forces Commander Robert Brovdi (Madyar) reported on August 22 that a strike had hit a pumping station of the Transneft Druzhba pipeline in Unecha, Bryansk region, Russia.
