Ukrainian parliament extends martial law, mobilization for another three months
Yaroslav Zhelezniak, an MP from the Holos (Voice) faction, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
He specified that 320 MPs supported Bill No. 13471 "On Approval of the Presidential Decree on Extending Martial Law in Ukraine," while 304 lawmakers backed Bill No. 13472 "On Approval of the Presidential Decree on Extending General Mobilization."
Accordingly, martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine have been extended until November 5, 2025.
Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. On the same day, martial law was imposed and general mobilization was declared, initially set to last until March 26.
Since then, the Ukrainian parliament has periodically extended both measures. The previous extension was in effect until August 7, 2025.
