Military contingent to arrive in Ukraine after full ceasefire – Zelensky
The head of state said this at a joint press conference with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We are discussing the possibility that a full ceasefire could pave the way for a diplomatic end to the war, as the 'coalition of the willing' could appear in Ukraine only after a complete ceasefire," Zelensky said.
He said that it was still too early to discuss the infrastructure for the contingent.
"But it is important that among the leading countries, Belgium is also supporting this direction," Zelensky added.
He also stressed that the issue of the "coalition of the willing" would be discussed in Brussels this Thursday.
"The 'coalition of the willing,' specifically the contingent, will be discussed [in Brussels] on Thursday. This is an important issue that will be on the agenda," Zelensky said.
On March 27, a meeting of the "coalition of the willing" took place in Paris. The main topic of the meeting was continuing support for Ukraine and discussing the structure of future security guarantees for Ukraine after the war.
