The Ukrainian delegation at today's negotiations with the U.S. delegation in Riyadh is led by the Deputy Head of Ukraine’s President’s Office, Pavlo Palisa.

This was announced on national television by the advisor to the chief of the President’s Office, Serhiy Leshchenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today we have a delegation headed by Deputy Andriy Yermak, the legendary commander of the Kholodnyi Yar (Cold Ravine) 93rd Brigade, previously Commander of the 5th Assault Brigade, Pavlo Palisa. He stayed in Riyadh for another day in order to hold another meeting with the Americans after our enemies met with the American delegation," Leshchenko said.

He noted that what the Russians discussed with Americans would require feedback from the Ukrainian delegation.

Leshchenko noted that topics related to the maritime navigation and civil infrastructure security are being discussed in Saudi Arabia.

“Day 1, which was yesterday, was about the security of navigation in the Black Sea and infrastructure. This is about our ports, including the Kherson port, which had not previously been mentioned in the communication framework, but it is also the one that requires security. Also, the Black Sea port of Mykolaiv, three large Odesa ports, plus smaller ports – this is everything that is related to stopping the destruction of civil infrastructure and food security,” Leshchenko said.

He added that the negotiations also concerned other infrastructure facilities.

In addition, according to him, each meeting begins and ends with the issue of the return of Ukrainian children.

"Among the abducted children are those of the Zaporizhzhia NPP staff," Leshchenko emphasized. He noted that now the nuclear plant personnel are forced to sustain the facility while not being sure of their children’s safety.

"This must be put to an end. That is why the Zaporizhzhia NPP from time to time emerges in this context," said the advisor to the head of the President’s Office.

Yesterday, March 24, negotiations between the U.S. and Russian delegations were held in Saudi Arabia, lasting more than 12 hours.
